Customer Review

I review the uCertify CIW: JavaScript Specialist v2.0 on uCertify. I admit that it was a good read and I learned a lot. The course covers broad topics of JavaScript from very basic to advanced APIs, and the content was up-to-date with industry standard. Labs are provided in each chapter to internalize newly-learned skills which help people like me who learn by doing.

The uCertify JavaScript study guide contains vocabularies, which has digital index cards and you can flip over for definitions. You can also watch videos for understanding the basics, and the text is pretty high in dense, so there's a lot you can learn from. And it's all in easy English, nothing complicated like some of the books you'll find out there.

I was impressed going through the CIW JavaScript course, it was really great and comprehensive; a nice blend of videos and text. Every lesson has short videos that introduce the concepts and a more in-depth note that covers more intricate areas of the language. You also get quizzes in-between to test your understanding of the concepts just covered with very interactive flashcards.
